Ross Kenneth Urken’s touching memoir of the Jamaican Nanny who raised him was formally launched at BOOK CULTURE in Long Island City, New York on October 21 to a sold-out audience.
The following night was no different when Ross did a second reading at SHAKESPEARE & CO in Manhattan. Before the night was over, all copies in the store were gobbled up by the appreciative audience to the disappointment of many.
